Who We Are

An independent, UK-based interior design consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering eye-catching design schedules. Edit provides its clients with logical design solutions that genuinely address the brief and budget. Although form is a priority, function is king, and Edit’s clients enjoy the long-term benefits of this ethos.

OUR HISTORY

Launched in the Summer of 2009, Edit Design Consultancy is the company persona for independent designer Paul Beardmore. The business has expanded steadily ever since, driven by Paul’s talent, creativity, and focus on design practicality. Prior to starting the business, the variety of organisations and roles Paul’s career encompassed organically pre-empted the three pillars of what Edit offers today:

  • Ideas communicated clearly

  • A healthy obsession for detail

  • Commercial awareness

What We Do

Work with client team to develop the brief and gauge an appropriate response, in terms of aesthetic and practical considerations.

  • Space analysis / testing of existing or potential sites.

  • Site surveys and dimensions check.

  • Understanding of workplace topography

  • Development of key individual / department adjacencies.

  • Block and detail planning.
